In many ways, Burns Night is a celebration like no other: Scottish to the core, yet of international appeal, for arguably no other poet in history has ever been so celebrated as Robert Burns.

On Burns Night, we celebrate the life and work of Scottish poet Robert Burns.
Many Burns Suppers - addressing the Haggis, toasting The Immortal Memory and sharing Burns’ songs and poems with a dram - will take place virtually this year.
During virtual celebrations with the Robert Burns World Federation, The Duke of Rothesay recited one of Robert Burns’ most famous poems, Auld Lang Syne.
The Duchess of Rothesay also marked Burns Night in a message to Aberdeen University, of which Her Royal Highness is Chancellor.
