His Majesty viewed a showcase of the Best of British Fashion and met designers, clothes makers and industry figures, and, as Royal Founding President, met makers from The King's Foundation, before viewing an exhibition by Brand63Africa and meeting designers involved in its creation.
Afterwards The King met Sustainable Markets Initiative innovators before viewing the opening show of London Fashion Week.

The King and Queen this morning visited the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and were received at Barking Learning Centre Community and Family Hub, 2 Town Square, Barking, by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa) and the Mayor of Barking and Dagenham (Councillor Princess Bright).
His Majesty, escorted by the Head of Universal Services, London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Council (Mr. Zoinul Abidin) and Her Majesty, escorted by the Deputy Leader of London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Council (Councillor Saima Ashraf), met representatives of local groups, organisations and services.
The King and Queen afterwards visited Barking and Dagenham College, Rush Green Campus, Dagenham Road, Romford, to mark the Sixty Fifth Anniversary of the College and were received by Mr. Ian Pittaway (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London), the Chairman of Governors (Mr. Andy Forbes) and the Principal and Chief Executive Officer (Ms. Natalie Davison).
Their Majesties met students and teaching staff in the fashion, plumbing, and art and design classrooms, before visiting the film and television studio and meeting more students.
The Queen visited the healthcare suite and the College restaurant, meeting young people studying health and social care, and catering and hospitality.
The King this afternoon officially opened Eastbrook Studios, Yew Tree Avenue, Dagenham, and was received by Ms. Avril McIntyre (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London) and the Chief Studio and Real Estate Officer and Chief Strategy Officer of the MBS Group (Mr. Jason Hariton).
