The Duchess of Edinburgh visits West Sussex

The Duchess of Edinburgh has spent time in West Sussex, visiting the South of England Agricultural Society's 26th Jim Green Challenge and Manor Green College.
At the South of England Agricultural Society’s 26th Jim Green Challenge, The Duchess of Edinburgh met students and representatives from participating colleges, as well as the team of Society staff and volunteers who organised the Challenge.
The annual challenge brought together 120 students and adults with additional needs, and featured competitions, evidence-based project work that encompass skills such as practical crafts and verbal identification.
At Manor Green College, Her Royal Highness met students from the catering, design & technology and life skills departments, as well as DofE students and trainers.
Home of the ‘Super Siblings’, Her Royal Highness spoke to children and their siblings who are supported through play and activities to relieve the distress experienced by children and young people who grow up with a brother or sister who has additional needs or disabilities.
