The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh meet athletes at the National Cycling Centre, Manchester

On Friday, British Cycling welcomed their Paton, The Duchess of Edinburgh, and The Duke of Edinburgh to the National Cycling Centre, as they celebrated one year of their Limitless disability and para-cycling programme. Read on for more.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh at the National Cycling Centre

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh have visited the National Cycling Centre in Manchester, as they celebrate one year of their Limitless disability and para-cycling programme. 

Limitless is British Cycling’s inclusive cycling programme which provides cycling opportunities for disabled people, regardless of age, impairment and ability. The organisation is creating a network of inclusive opportunities across the country, where disabled people can take part in cycling opportunities.

Their Royal Highnesses met with volunteers from the programme, presenting jerseys to the newly-crowned national champions.

On a tour of the track centre, after watching the National Track Championships, The Duchess also met athletes, volunteers and technical officials.
