The Duke of Gloucester, Honorary Air Commodore, No 501 (County of Gloucester) Logistics Support Squadron Royal Auxiliary Air Force, today attended the Air Space Combat Power Visit at Royal Air Force Brize Norton and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire (Mrs. Marjorie Glasgow).

The King this morning received Flight Lieutenant Colin Bell who presented a copy of his book to His Majesty when The King presented him with the citation to his Distinguished Flying Cross which was awarded to him by King George VI in 1945.

His Majesty, Patron, Royal Commonwealth Ex-Services League, this afternoon received Field Marshal the Lord Richards of Herstmonceux (Grand President), Major General "Mitch" Mitchell (Deputy Grand President) and Major David Thompson (Secretary General).

The King, Founder, the King Charles III Charitable Fund, received Trustees of the Fund and representatives from Waitrose and Partners.

The King received a delegation of seven elected representatives of First Nations signatories to Treaty Number Six, the 1876 treaty between the Crown and First Nations in modern-day Saskatchewan and Alberta, Canada.

Ms. Corin Robertson was received in audience by The King and kissed hands upon her appointment as His Majesty's Ambassador to Japan.

Mr. James Robertson was also received by His Majesty.

The King this evening held a Reception at St. James's Palace for members of the Nigerian Diaspora in the United Kingdom, in advance of the Nigerian State Visit.

The Queen, Joint Patron, the Jockey Club, today attended the Cheltenham Festival at Cheltenham Racecourse and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Mr. Edward Gillespie).

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The King, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

The Duke of Kent, President, Wellington College, this evening attended a Performance of 'Fifty Years of Co-education Through the Arts' at Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, Belvedere Road, London SE1, and was received by Dr. Yvonne Thompson (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

St. James's Palace

The Duchess of Edinburgh this afternoon departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for the United States of America and this evening arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York.

The Prince of Wales, Founder and President, the Earthshot Prize, this afternoon held a Meeting at Windsor Castle.

The King this morning held a Reception for Caribbean Foreign Ministers at St. James's Palace.

HIs Majesty this afternoon received representatives from fishing industries which have been convened by the Sustainable Markets Initiative.

Mr. David Cairns was received in audience by The King and kissed hands upon his appointment as His Majesty's Ambassador to the Argentine Republic.

Mrs. Cairns was also received by His Majesty.

Mr. David Concar was received in audience by The King and kissed hands upon his appointment as His Majesty's Ambassador to the Republic of Chile.

Ms. Caroline North was also received by His Majesty.

The following were received in audience by The King upon their appointment as British High Commissioners: Ms. Alicia Herbert (Jamaica), Mrs. Smita Rossetti (the Commonwealth of the Bahamas) and Mr. Andrew Nethercott (the Independent State of Samoa).

Mr. Daniel Drok, Mr. Matteo Rossetti and Mrs. Madeleine Kingston were also received by His Majesty.

There were present: the Rt. Hon. Shabana Mahmood MP (Acting Lord President), the Rt. Hon. Emma Reynolds MP (Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs), the Rt. Hon. Dame Sara Cockerill, Sir David Foxton, Sir Robert Miles and Dame Amanda Yip were worn were sworn in as members of His Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council.

At the Council, The King pricked the List of High Sheriffs for the Counties of England (other than Cornwall and those in the Duchy of Lancaster) and Wales.

After the Council, His Majesty pricked the List of High Sheriffs for the Counties of the Duchy of Lancaster.

Mr. Alastair Martin (Chief Executive Officer and Clerk of the Council of the Duchy of Lancaster) was present.

Mr. Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.

The Rt. Hon. Sir Clive Alderton (Principal Private Secretary to Their Majesties) was in attendance.

The Rt. Hon. Shabana Mahmood MP had an audience of His Majesty before the Council.

Later, the Rt. Hon. Sir Keir Starmer MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The King.

The King this evening visited the "Turner and Constable: Rivals and Originals" Exhibition at Tate Britain, Millbank, London SW1, and was received by the Chairman of Tate (Mr. Roland Rudd) and the Director of Tate Britain (Mr. Alex Farquharson).

His Majesty viewed the Exhibition, escorted by Dr. Amy Concannon (Senior Curator of Historic British Art, Tate Britain).

The Queen, President, the Maggie Keswick Jencks Cancer Caring Centres Trust, this morning received Dame Laura Lee (Chief Executive).

Her Majesty this afternoon held a Meeting for The Consorts' Library.

The Queen, President, WOW - Women of the World, accompanied by The Duchess of Gloucester, later held a Reception at Clarence House to mark International Women's Day.

The Princess Royal, on behalf of The King, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

By command of The King, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) this morning received His Excellency Mr. Moses Kouni Mose at St. James's Palace in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as High Commissioner for Solomon Islands in London.

Today is the Anniversary of the Birthday of The Duke of Edinburgh.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh this afternoon arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Italy.

Mr. Tom Robinson and Captain Jacob Markham were in attendance.

The King and Queen this afternoon attended the Commonwealth Day Service of Celebration in Westminster Abbey, London SW1, and were received by the Dean of Westminster (the Very Reverend Dr. David Hoyle), the Commonwealth Secretary-General (the Hon. Shirley Botchwey) and the Chairman of the Royal Commonwealth Society (Ms. Janet Cooper).

The Prince and Princess of Wales, The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were also present.

Ms. Laura Sullivan was received by The King and Queen later upon relinquishing her appointment as Press Secretary, Private Secretary's Office, when His Majesty invested her with the Insignia of a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order.

The King and Queen, accompanied by The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, this evening held the Annual Commonwealth Day Reception at St. James's Palace.

Mr. Kim Bromley-Derry (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London) was present at London City Airport, London, this afternoon upon the Arrival of The Prince of Monaco and welcomed His Serene Highness on behalf of The King.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, the British Paralympic Association, and The Duchess of Edinburgh today attended the XIV Paralympic Winter Games in Cortina, Italy.

Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon visited the Paralympic Village, Cortina.
