His Majesty afterwards attended the launch of 'Circularity in Practice' at the Renew Hub, Nash Road, Trafford Park, Greater Manchester, and was received by the Chairman of the Circularity in Practice Initiative (Miss Michelle Pinggera), the Chief Executive Officer of SUEZ recycling and recovery UK (Mr. John Scanlon), the Mayor of Greater Manchester (Mr. Andrew Burnham) and the Mayor of Trafford (Councillor Jane Brophy).
The King viewed donated and salvaged items awaiting refurbishment, before meeting technicians and volunteers working at specialist 'repair pods'.
His Majesty subsequently met representatives of small and medium sized enterprises participating in a knowledge session.
The King later visited Greencore Warrington, 20 Grosvenor Grange, Woolston, Warrington, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire (Lady Redmond), the Chief Executive Officer of Greencore Group plc (Mr. Dalton Philips), the Director of Alliance Food Sourcing (Ms. Nicola Robinson) and the Mayor of Warrington (Councillor Mo Hussain).
