Charities receive tickets for the Diamond Jubilee Concert

THE FOLLOWING ANNOUNCEMENT IS MADE BY THE PRESS SECRETARY TO THE QUEEN

More than 100 charities and youth support organisations from all over the United Kingdom have been given tickets to take part in The Diamond Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace on Monday, June 4th, 2012.

The charities and youth support organisations, which have Royal patronage, cover a broad spectrum of British life. The majority of the 8,000 tickets are for the standing area in front of the Queen Victoria Memorial with some seated tickets being available to particular charities.
