Members of The Royal Family meet members of the public across the United Kingdom.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were in Sandringham today, The Earl and Countess of Wessex in Manchester and The Princess Royal in Glasgow.

In Norfolk, The Prince and Princess of Wales spoke to members of the public and viewed some of the many floral tributes left at Norwich Gates.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex visited Manchester city centre where they met members of the public in St. Ann’s Square and thanked them for their well wishes.

Their Royal Highnesses took the opportunity to view floral tributes left in honour of Her Majesty The Queen.

The Earl and Countess also visited Manchester’s Central Library, where they viewed and signed the civic Book of Condolence for Her Majesty The Queen.

The Book of Condolence is available to visitors in Manchester Central Library from 9:00-18:00, until Tuesday 20 September. An online Book of Condolence is also available. 

The Earl and Countess then visited Manchester Cathedral where they lit a candle in memory of Her Majesty The Queen.

Meanwhile, The Princess Royal was in Glasgow where she met representatives from The Queen’s Scottish Patronages.  The Princess also took the opportunity to meet members of the public who had gathered.
