His Majesty received Sir Mark Jones upon relinquishing his appointment as Director of the British Museum and Mr. Nicholas Cullinan upon assuming the appointment.

The King, Visitor, the Royal College of Art, received Dr. Paul Thompson upon relinquishing his appointment as Vice Chancellor.

His Majesty, Patron, the Royal Academy of Arts, received Ms. Rebecca Salter (President) and Ms. Natasha Mitchell (Secretary and Chief Executive).

Mr. John Barnes (Chief Executive, Historic Royal Palaces) was received by The King.

His Majesty, Patron, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, received Sir Andrew Cahn upon his appointment as Chairman of Trustees.

Ms. Janice Lopatkin (Chairman, Refugee Employment Network) was received by The King.

Kensington Palace

The Prince William, Duke of Rothesay and The Duchess of Rothesay this afternoon visited BAE Systems Naval Ships Applied Shipbuilding Academy, 1471 South Street, Scotstoun, when Her Royal Highness named HMS GLASGOW and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow (Councillor Jacqueline McLaren, the Rt. Hon. the Lord Provost).

St. James's Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh this morning visited "the Campbell Watson" lifeboat at North Pier, Oban, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute (Mrs. Jane MacLeod).

Their Royal Highnesses later visited Kerrera Marina, Isle of Kerrera, and were received by Mr. Neil Matheson (Deputy Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute).

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh afterwards visited Kerrera Community Woodlands.

Their Royal Highnesses later visited Kerrera Old School Community Hub.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh this afternoon visited Tigh An Truish, Isle of Seil.

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited the Isle of Easdale and were received by Mrs. Rachel Ross (Deputy Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute).

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh later visited the Atlantic Islands Centre, Cullipool, Isle of Luing, and were received by Mr. Andrew Campbell (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute).

The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal President, the Children's Society, this afternoon visited Pause, 21 Digbeth, Birmingham, and was received by Mrs. Louise Bennett (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands).

Her Royal Highness afterwards officially opened Edmonds Transplant Centre at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Mindelsohn Way, Edgbaston, Birmingham, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands (Dr. Derrick Anderson).

His Excellency Mr. Warren Stephens was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the United States of America to the Court of St. James's.

Mrs. Stephens was also received by His Majesty.

His Excellency Mr. Nadhavathna Krishnamra was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Kingdom of Thailand to the Court of St. James's.

Mrs. Krishnamra was also received by His Majesty.

Her Excellency Ms. Genevieve Kennedy was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Liberia to the Court of St. James's.

Sir Oliver Robbins (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

The King this afternoon received Mr. Scott Furssedonn-Wood upon relinquishing his appointment as British High Commissioner to Barbados, and non-resident British High Commissioner to Dominica, Grenada, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia and Saint Christopher and Nevis when His Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order.

The Queen, Patron, Royal Academy of Dance, this morning received Mr. Timothy Arthur at Clarence House upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief Executive and Mrs. Elizabeth Honer upon assuming the appointment.

Her Majesty, Patron, First Story, received Mrs. Antonia Byatt at Clarence House upon relinquishing her appointment as Chief Executive and Mrs. Sophie Hiscock upon assuming the appointment.

The Queen, President, Bees for Development Trust, received Mrs. Megan Denver at Clarence House upon relinquishing her appointment as Chief Executive and Mrs. Hannah Wood upon assuming the appointment.

The Prince William, Duke of Rothesay, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this afternoon visited Leith Community Centre, 12A Newkirkgate, Leith, Edinburgh, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Robert Aldridge, the Rt. Hon. the Lord Provost).

St. James's Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh this afternoon visited Small Isles Primary School, Isle of Jura, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Argyll and Bute (Mrs. Jane MacLeod).

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited Jura Care Centre, Craighouse, Isle of Jura.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh later visited Jura Distillery, Craighouse.

The Duke of Gloucester, Air Commodore-in-Chief, Royal Auxiliary Air Force, this afternoon received Air Vice-Marshal Ranald Munro upon relinquishing his appointment as Commandant General.

Buckingham Palace

The King and Queen this morning visited Canada House, Trafalgar Square, London SW1, to mark its Centenary and were received by Colonel Jane Davis (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London) and the High Commissioner for Canada in London (His Excellency the Hon. Ralph Goodale).

Their Majesties, escorted by the Honorary President of Royal Canadian Geographical Society (Chief Perry Bellegarde) and the Chief Executive Officer of Parks Canada (Mr. Ron Hallman), viewed the Royal Canadian Geographical Society floor map in the Borden-Mackenzie Rooms and met guests, including notable Canadian citizens, and members of staff.

His Majesty was presented with a Key to Canada House by the High Commissioner and, with Her Majesty, subsequently viewed an exhibition in the Canada Gallery celebrating the One Hundredth Anniversary of Canada House.

The Baroness Scotland of Asthal was received by The King this afternoon upon relinquishing her appointment as Commonwealth Secretary-General.

His Majesty received the Lord Janvrin (Chairman of The Queen Elizabeth Memorial Committee).

The Rt. Hon. Sir Keir Starmer MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The King.

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The King, and The Princess of Wales gave an Afternoon Party in the garden of Buckingham Palace.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.

His Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms and The King's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty.

The British Army Band Tidworth and the Central Band of the Royal Air Force played selections of music during the afternoon.

The King was represented by the Earl Rosslyn (Lord Steward and Personal Secretary to The King and Queen) at the Memorial Service for Dame Rosalind Savill (formerly Director of the Wallace Collection) which was held at St. Marylebone Parish Church, 17 Marylebone Road, London NW1, this afternoon.

The Duchess of Edinburgh was represented by Dr. Xavier Bray.
