The King has hosted a reception to mark the Scotland Investment Forum, celebrating Scotland's entrepreneurial spirit and strong innovation ecosystem.
At the Palace of Holyroodhouse, His Majesty was joined by First Minister of Scotland, John Swinney, to celebrate Scotland's entrepreneurial economy.
Recent research shows Scotland is the UK's fastest-growing territory for new technology incorporations, and investment in Scottish female-led businesses has risen 10.5% in the last year.
During the reception, The King and First Minister met representatives from Rosebank Distillery. Founded in 1840, Rosebank is a local success story of innovation, sustainability, and biodiversity. The distillery also won the Best in Show award at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits competition.
His Majesty and The First Minister had the opportunity to taste a dram of whisky.
The King, accompanied by the First Minister of Scotland, met guests including investors, business representatives, and leaders from industries including technology, healthcare, and AI.
